Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film famous for her performance in film productions such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16years old, she had secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. Her critically acclaimed performance in the television film made for TV Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like the role of the secretary to Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge, in the critically and commercially highly successful Oscar nominated war-time drama film Downfall.
